These are not lulu align dupes as far as material goes - it’s not the buttery soft, it’s the more synthetic luxtreme feeling type (still really nice). The medium was way too tight around the thighs, I sized up to a Large (normally a medium, size &, 29in waist). I got the 4in but they definitely roll up to underwear the second you start doing anything :( that is literally the only negative. And of course if you size up because the leg and butt stuff, you might have a little room in the waist but mine havent bothered me.I’ve tried several lengths and brands of biker shorts and these are by far my favorite! The length is perfect and doesn’t give the weird leg squeeze look. The waistband is high and doesn’t roll down. These shorts are a dream!Comfortable. Length and proportions are just right. I bought these based on a recommendation (linktree) from a high level barre trainer. Honestly, for the price, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The legs moved a tiny bit during my lift/HIIT workout but not enough to bother me. Will definitely be purchasing in more colors!Personally, they're a little more spandexy feeling and less soft than I would like, but they're still softer than Old Navy brand. Not as soft as Flx brand, which are my favorite that I've tried so far. I love that there are lots of color and length options. I got navy in a large, and they came just as I expected with no damage. They are good for working out in as they are tight but the legs don't roll up when your legs rub together. Again, I just prefer an even softer fabric for my workout clothes. Overall, it's a great product.I wear a 12-14 xl fit great.Pros: Color, stretch, feel.Cons: Hems on legs roll up, waistline gaps.These are definitely a dupe of the lulu align shorts, and they’re not bad. Not the same quality of fabric, but again, not bad—less butter, more synthetic.I took these pics when I tried on the shorts this morning. I was SO happy and thought they were super cute. As I wore them at the gym today, just for a stretch/rehab day, I noticed right away that they RIDE UP A LOT. They literally roll up my legs. Not a fan of that, esp considering how short they are already.I also noticed that the waist gaps—it doesn’t hug the way you want it to. They’d fit great if I were bloated. They feel like the right size on the legs, but the waist just wasn’t it—mine is 24-25” for reference. I’d say these comfortably fit a 25-28”.Note on length: I don’t have fat legs, but these guys really brought out what little cellulite I do have ahah. Once you move your legs, they settle to fit right at the base of your butt. Do not believe the stock image.I got the size 4, 3 inch in the dark grey.I have the lulu shorts these are dupes of… I would say the lulu’s are thicker and have more of a compression effect. These show my cellulite a little more and the fabric is a little bit more of that spandex swimming type fabric compared to the lulus. But the coverage and fit are very similar and these are overall a really good dupe for most. Personally I’ll be returning them because of my cellulite showing a little more and they’re a little more ‘jiggly’… but again, a REALLY solid dupe worth trying.Material doesn’t compare. It’s still spandex feeling and runs small without much give. Maybe after washing a few times and wearing them in…but I didn’t want to try and risk not returning.These shorts are okay. The tummy control is alright. I have seen better. Honestly I have come to the conclusion that 8 inches or shorter is not a good size for me because they always slide up my legs. They don't stay in place. Which is really frustrating because my 10 inch shorts from the same brand stay put absolutely fine!They were unflattering around the cuffs of the shorts they went into my thighs and made them look deformed and bigger than they are. Around the waste there was a lot of rolling. For this reason I cannot say it is squat proof.Honestly I wish I could return these because I will not be using them again, clearly my money has been wasted. If I had not gave them so many chances and done multiple workouts in them I would have returned it. Maybe if you are naturally skinny it will fit as expected but for someone like me with an average body type, cellulite and overall many imperfections its a no.Please let me know if my experience was helpful for you.It is not the ideal short if you have large upper thighs, as the short legs tend to climb up at the crotch. If the legs were more compressive it would be better.I would never accept freebies / money to do reviews.So I wear lululemon leggings and I’m a teal snob when it comes to the quality of clothes!I needed these shorts for walking on a winter holiday.Every premium brand couldn’t ship to me fast enough.So I took the risk and ordered these.I am actually pleasantly surprised.They fit as well as my lululemon shorts.They fee premium.I usually prefer a LuLu Align short in 4inch or leggings to train. These are a superb alternate product. Good quality for the price. I have strength trained and done WODs in these and I am really pleased. Comfortable and wear well. All shorts roll up on my quads, even the £50 lulus so I would never expect to buy ones that don’t! I am 169cm 63kg and athletic, quads, glutes and small waist. I brought the size 12, I’d usually wear size 6 in lulus (uk10). Will definitely be buying more of these in the 3inch length.I love these shorts, thick enough that they’re not see through, comfortable with the high waist band, supportive and just amazing. I will 100% be back to buy other colours, I’ve somehow managed with just one pair but I’ve worn them working out and casually with a big t. Really rate them, I prefer them to any other brands out there (even lulu!)
