Update: They sent me a custom cover to hide the marks on the fabric. I’m giving the chair a 3.5 out of 5 and their customer service a 4.5 out of 5.Previous Review: I purchased a NEW meditation chair for $140 (chair) + $30 (shipping) = $170For that amount of money I expected a NEW meditation chair, but I received a used one.The fabric was dusty and the metal rods have rust stains on them. I really expected more from this company and the two positive reviews.The chair does work for my body type. I’m 5’6” and 135 lbs, but I think anyone taller than 5’9” wouldn’t be comfortable on this chair. Also anyone whose “big boned” or heavier may not find adequate support using this chair. I’m just disappointed that I spent so much on what appears to be a used-chair.The quality seems okay; the metal rods could be sturdier. There are beach lounge chairs that cost around the $80-100 that are built a lot better than this chair — yet this is a meditation chair and fills a certain niche in the chair market.My Spirit never lies, so when I got the overwhelming feeling of love & fullness that I felt from my experience with this Seller''s kindness, love, appreciation, service & gratitude for my business it brought tears to my eyes. This organization raised the bar for me. I now require only the best treatment from any business I choose to deal with. This business totally put my needs first & that one little action filled me with so much humility & joy that even though we were resolving an issue with the chair I originally choose to purchase, I really wished i had the ability to purchase all of their products just to help their business. Companies like this one needs to be here, to help us remember how we are to treat each other. I get tired of fighting so I now put only positive vibrations out into the universe so that what I receive in return is also positive & I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that it works. Since the added cushion is extremely hard, as others mentioned, I used it as an extension of the chair, since I am tall with long legs. This was helpful.After three days, my seat really began to pain me, so the teacher recommended I add a large foam cushion on top which I did. Again, perhaps because I am tall, I didn't feel the seat offered high enough support to the back, which caused my back and neck to ultimately hurt. Lastly, the seat would constantly creak if I leaned up against it, which disturbed the hall more than a few times.I ended up donating this to the center, otherwise I probably would have returned it. Three stars because the green color is pretty and the seat all in all aided me in lasting through 12 days, or over 100 hours of rigorous meditation.I can honestly say this chair has been used and is now partially broken in. I attended a 10 day Vipassana course where I meditated for about 10 hours a day. The additional small cushion is firm. I ended up having to use a softer cushion since I wasn't used to meditating for long periods of time. The back rest was a welcome relief during those long hours. I am 5'7 and fit perfectly on the seat. The color is exactly like the picture and travels well with the travel bag provided. I received many compliments. It arrived on time. I would highly recommend this chair for anyone who needs back support during long sittings. Plus its an extra seat in the living room when friends and family gather.It's very comfortable, provides great back support, and nice cushion for butt and ankles. I have to say, my feet still get numb while sitting on it....a problem I was trying to resolve by purchasing and using the chair. It still may not be the ideal position for my legs so no nerves and blood vessels get restricted leading to numbness.Good enough chair. Good enough back support. I would like the cushion to be more comfortable. I like the large size. Like the carrying case and how it folds.I have traditionally meditated by sitting on a fusion on the floor with my back against the wall. This chair does everything in one.Very uncomfortable. No one in my healing center likes it sadly. Maybe someday someone will?Product is NOT RETURNABLE. The product description does not mention this at all.When I had paid and the chair got delivered, I realised that there is no refund and return policy.It is a very good quality meditation chair but does not suit my purpose of carrying it around for meditation classes as it is very heavy almost 8 to 9 kgs...not practical to move around.Thank you for lovely product, my parents loved it.Did not meet the expectation at all simply wastage as the wt is 5kgGreat product.I use it every day for studying and doing ofc work on bed.Length should have been a bit moreOkay product. It is not very convenient for elderly people.
